Biography:

Ms. Hagemier holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.  She has extensive business experience including business start-ups, profitability analysis and growth management.  Despite her role as Lanthier Winery's CEO, she prefers that most persons know her as the winery's Master Gardener.

She and her husband Chris founded Lanthier Winery.  Tami has been instrumental in the company's continued success and rapid growth. She is involved in a multitude of local, state and national boards and organizations,  Ms. Hagemier has been honored on numerous occasions for her outstanding public service efforts. Tami has a fondness for all creatures and in 2005 accepted a board position with the Jefferson County Humane Society where she assists with fund raising, humane care issues and shelter oversight.  She has rescued more than 30 abused or abandoned cats since moving to Madison in 1991. In 2003 she implemented a wild bird rehabilitation and release program based in Lanthier Winery's gardens.  She has trained several staff on the care, feeding and release of injured birds. 

Tami enjoys painting and sketching, photography, gardening and travel.  She has visited Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Thailand, China, Fiji, Malaysia, Costa Rica and Europe. Her future travel plans include India, Turkey and Greenland.  She laughing reports she hopes to someday, "never have to talk on the phone or answer an email again."
