                                               Lanthier Winery’s tasting room is home to Cellarmaster Chris Lanthier's
                                               handcrafted award winning wines. Guests can enjoy complimentary samples of any of the 17 meticulously handcrafted wines while chatting with the Cellarmaster or strolling for uncommon finds in the gift shop. Tastes differ and so does Lanthier Winery’s wine selections. Novices and connoisseurs alike, enjoy tasting sweet, fruity Midwestern wines reminiscent of a sip stolen from grandfather’s glass, or can select subtle, slightly sweet fruit wines or seductive dry reds created in a time honored fashion from handpicked vineyard fruit.
     You can taste the romance at Lanthier Winery! Enjoy a glass of wine in the fragrant French country gardens, which engulf Madison’s oldest winery or surrender to the romance of the Loft Gallery overlooking the cellar tasting room.

Dry Wines

Rivertown White: Fruity blend, compliments oriental cuisine, grilled swordfish & oysters Rockefeller or home cooked pork roast & chicken casseroles. Nick's favorite ...

Chardonel:  Prestigious wine first available fall 2006. Planted in our Vevay Vineyards in 2000.

Chambourcin:  Recognizes Mr. Lanthier’s European heritage, similar to a French Beaujolais’. Pair with venison, veal & home cooked roast. Cellarmaster’s favorite.

Rivertown Red: The gold medal winning Baco Noir with hints of Oak, holds well with seasoned foods such as Mexican, Creole, pizza or BBQ. Jeff’s favorite wine .

Off Dry and Semi Sweet Wines

Rifleport Red: Re-released after a five year absence...It is a softer Chambourcin with a fruiter finish than most dry reds. Perfect for dinner parties where a not too sweet, not to dry red is required.

Traminette: This fragrant, fruity wine is one of several grape varieties grown in our Vevay Vineyards. Premiered autumn of 2002, this popular wine sells out every year! Wade's favorite.

Florence White: A fresh off dry blend with soft spiciness. Dedicated to the Cellarmaster’s mother Florence Lanthier, Mother’s Day 1995. Compliments mahi-mahi, grilled tuna and home style chicken pastas in garlic sauces. Similar to Pinot Grigio .

Chautauquablumchen: This refreshing, semi sweet, Catawba’s name means gathering of blossoms. Serve with quiches, grilled trout and battered catfish. Comparable to a Zinfandel .

Cranberry Grande’ : Softly sweet with cranberry finish, perfect match to game hen, quail or roasted turkey. Natural choice for holiday feasts or celebrations or hostess gift .

Festival Cherry: This wine with aromas of cherry pie, smells sweeter than it finishes. This gold medal winner is a magnificent wine cooler and pairs naturally with chocolate. Ask for Barb's cherry wine spritzer recipe .

Blackberry Social: Sweet light berry sipping wine, pair with gingered pork steaks, cheesecake or baked chicken. Stacie’s favorite wine .

Sweet Wines

Mill Street White:  Beautifully sweet Niagara, pairs with lamb, chocolate mousse, cheddar cheese dishes and soufflés. Greg’s favorite wine .

Strawberry Blush: Fresh delicate berry flavor makes this wine a favorite for entertaining. Excellent with chocolates or cheesecake. Great with grilled chicken. Tami’s favorite wine
