Lanthier Winery's four Master Gardeners use a variety of natural predators such as frogs, birds and bats to control pest population in the gardens. Each year thousands of frogs hatch as a result of our native tadpole program.
"Chardonel" our resident groundhog makes her home under the north garden stage. Each year we are blessed with a 3-4 baby "hogs" who delight guests with their play antics.
